Psychological services with families in mind
Raising Relationships is a psychological service for individuals and families who are struggling with their relationships, whether that is with themselves or others. I believe that our early experiences shape the way that we relate to ourselves and others.
We learn ways of coping and interacting with people that help us to get by as children, but sometimes lead to difficulties when we are adults. This can mean we struggle to be happy. Sometimes we experience mental health difficulties or relationship problems. We might cope with life’s challenges in ways that are actually harmful to us, our partners or our children.
In some situations, this can lead to risky or destructive behaviours. Some people end up feeling like there is no way back, but I believe that it's often possible to find ways forward.
